Lightning Rod: The Pokémon draws in all Electric-type moves. Instead of being hit by Electric-type moves, it boosts its Sp. Atk.
Battle Armor: Hard armor protects the Pokémon from critical hits.


⇨ MOVES
◓ Bone Club (Ground / Physical): The user clubs the target with a bone. This may also make the target flinch.
◓ Bonemerang (Ground / Physical): The user throws the bone it holds. The bone loops around to hit the target twice—coming and going.
◓ Will-O-Wisp (Fire / Status): The user shoots a sinister, bluish-white flame at the target to inflict a burn.
◓ Shadow Bone (Ghost / Physical): The user attacks by beating the target with a bone that contains a spirit. This may also lower the target's Defense stat. Marowak spins its bone, with a purple flame gathering around one of the ends and a blue aura briefly flashing inside the center. It then stops spinning and strikes the opponent with the bone, creating a burst of both purple and blue flames once it makes contact.

bone club and bonemerang are absolutely obligatory for papyrus' cubone, especially starting out.

and i think i want to base its personality a little punnishly off the lightning rod ability, an impish nature one who pokes their snout into trouble, partly for the negative attention. (gentle, positive attention reminding it too much of its mom, after all. and the better for papyrus to give well-intentioned friendship lectures about believing in oneself and being a better person.)

so far i'm thinking my cubone is younger, lower in level, and more impulsive. they're not gonna be evolving for a good while, and i completely want to do something with this image someday. (that's official art from some card set, it's an absurdly cute image and so relevant to carnival)
