Sans Gaster bonedoggle Papyrus' younger brother, from the same timeline(s). Ex-scientist broken by the loss of their father, the time loops, and the futility of living in a world where it can all be erased at any moment. Recently attempting to heal.

11/27/15 | "that wasn't a dream, bro. you died." 12/??/15 | "I HAVE A DAD!" 12/??/15 | Sans and Gaster break the news that Papyrus and Sans are clones. 12/??/15 | The Gaster family interacts a bit at the skelefamily star-watching picnic. 12/??/15 | Metaphors about blue hearts and depression. 12/25/15 | Sans can't handle the idea of a child him running around. 01/23/16 | IT'S NOT A TRIPWIRE, SANS! The yarn-mapping turns to a discussion of clones, puzzles, and science. 02/12/16 | Shadow!Papyrus insists that Sans is holding him back; Sans believes him. 02/12/16 | Papyrus isn't a shadow and doesn't like people teleporting in his room. Gaster tells them about when he cloned them. 02/12/16 | Shadow!Sans insists that he can't do anything without Papyrus around, leaving Papyrus confused and alarmed and ashamed.

W.D. Gaster unvoidable Dadster of the clones! The W.D. Gaster from the same timeline(s) as Papyrus, who created clones by removing some of his soul (the bits that form holes in his hands) to make two sons, two years apart. Papyrus was a happy accident, intended as limb reproduction that went far further than that. Sans was intentional, but had complications with the machinery sustaining his development. Recently possibly regressing to a goopier state of being.

12/??/15 | Papyrus mistakes Gaster for Gaster (understandable mistake, really.) They discuss the fact that they're family. 12/??/15 | Surprise! You're clones. The sap singularity. 12/??/15 | The core Gaster family brings picnic supplies to the roof and banters along the way. 12/25/15 | "DAD, THERE'S A LITTLE KID OF SANS. CAN YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM?" 01/12/16 | And these little skeletons went to market. 02/12/16 | Sans and Gaster check on Papyrus, after running into shadow!Gaster. 02/12/16 | Gaster meets Shadow!Papyrus, and isn't impressed. The shadow cries a little.

Mettaton aghostinthemachine Favorite robot celebrity crush! And one of Papyrus' mutual new friends in this world.

11/27/15 | Mettaton is startled to realize this isn't the Papyrus he's dating, and chats while guiding Papyrus to Sans' room. 01/11/16 | Papyrus goes to Grillby's to see Mettaton perform. They're both delighted to see each other. 01/23/16 | Mettaton joins Papyrus in exploring the boarding house (and mapping it with yarn). 02/12/16 | Shadow!Papyrus tells Mettaton that he wants to be honest.

W.D. Gaster voidedman The first Gaster Papyrus met! Not actually his father from the same timeline, but his dad all the same. Met up from time to time to chat in the kitchen and such. Unfortunately, when Gaster went missing due to being kidnapped, tortured, and put out of his misery by the other Papyrus, this Papyrus knew none of it. Has reformed into a traumatized goopster.

11/27/15 | Another skeleton, who speaks in hands, welcomes Papyrus to Nusquamton. 11/30/15 | Gaster shares some eggs, and they chat about cooking. 12/07/15 | Papyrus finds Gaster in the garden, shaky, with legs (and a more corporeal form overall). 02/12/15 | Shadow!Gaster ominously asks Papyrus why he didn't come when Gaster called for help. He's a frightening broken doll.

Papyrus skelefont The (other) Great Papyrus! Not quite the same person, but close enough that they get along instantly, and trust the other's words without question.

11/27/15 | Papyrus meets Papyrus, and it's wonderful, if initially alarming and hard to believe. Infodumping and careful avoidance of the topic of anybody having died. 12/06/15 | The Great Papyri stargaze from the porch and discuss the difficulties and possibilities of looking after their brother(s). 01/03/16 | The start of the Secret Papyrus Book Club.

"The human" (Frisk? Chara) corruptedsave Murder child. Befriended Papyrus in order to manipulate him against his brother(s), and maybe a tiny bit out of fondness for him. Papyrus wants to believe that they're becoming a better person, but he's having a difficult time making that stick.

11/27/15 | Chara welcomes Papyrus to the land of the dead this world, and confirms that they did kill him, and everyone. Twice. 12/20/15 | "Sans killed me. Watch yourself, he might kill you too." 2/16?/16 | Chara meets shadow!Papyrus, and follows him to find an excuse to fight.

Sans canttrustatoms Still-a-scientist brother! A real blast from the past. Or, pop out of midair and land on your lap while you're trying to read. Simultaneously comforting and distressing to see; he isn't broken yet. Unlike the others.

01/04/16 | Sans teleports on top of Papyrus. They alarm each other and talk about time travel. 02/12/16 | Shadow!Sans resents being kept out of the loop, and blames himself for not pushing the others for information.

Sans havingabadtime The more distressing Sans. The Sans who'd been pushed to such a point of desperation that he killed the human for talking (really, for existing in a world that had no Papyrus, or most of the residents of Snowdin, for many months.) Revealed to Papyrus just how good Sans is at lying to him. Recently recovered more memories of home, and has reached a far better emotional equilibrium, but Papyrus doesn't know that yet.

12/21/15 | Papyrus mistakes a new Sans for his brother. It's a very painful mistake, for both of them, since this is the Sans who recently murdered the human. 01/23/16 | Sans makes fun of Papyrus' scientific methods.

Naomi Kimishima chatwithdeath Human doctor, knows the other Papyrus.

01/13/16 | Naomi catches Papyrus window shopping for yarn, and they chat about the boarding house, the other Papyrus, and a mythological figure. 02/12/16 | Papyrus seeks medical advice from a human. Shadow!Naomi plays along for a couple of minutes.

Frisk bestillmybeatingsoul What could have been... and now, can be! An alternate version of the murderer; older, sadder, and friendlier. Could use a lot of encouragement from the Great Papyrus!

01/23/16 | Frisk introduces themselves to Papyrus. They both hug and cry a little bit, partly out of fear of the murder child. 02/12/16 | Shadow!Frisk and shadow!Papyrus have an unpleasant chat.
