This is a catch-all thread for
fabulae_victoriana shenanigames!
I'll match whatever style you start with. I prefer to use [brackets] with some joking commentary and thought process descriptions.

so, what, am i just supposed to walk up to pap and go, "oh, hey bro, guess what? i have even more secrets!"
[He was thinking aloud to himself.]

[Between their teamwork and the need to cook more carefully on the different devices, the food might be more edible than typical. But don't quote anybody on that.]
[One Papyrus, carrying a completed tray of lasagna out of the oven, hears a familiar voice outside the door but can't quite make out what he's saying.]
Sans, is that you out there? Don't just walk around talking to yourself! If you're looking for something to do, you can come in here and help carry things to the roof!
no subject
[Well, he's not outside the door anymore, instead he's casually leaning on the countertop.]
no subject
Therefore you want nothing to do with it, I know! Still, you came in here, so you must not be that against the idea.
[Here, Sans. Look at this nice basket that one of your brothers slid down the counter at you. It's full of dishes and cups and utensils.]

hello I am here to ruin everything
Which is pointless. So now they are trying to find the one Papyrus, the one they killed here, to talk to. Since that is the one they mentioned "Oh one of the Sans-es might be dangerous and hurt someone" too, so adding "Sans killed me" to that can't hurt.
Except it seems the house has moved rooms around?? Or maybe they're tired, either way they are sure this is the right room. It looks like Papyrus' door, so have a few short quick knocks on the door.]
yaaaaaayy
Just a minute!
[He stands and double checks that no corner of it is peaking out, then heads for the door. Nevermind that the blanket's now suspiciously bunched at the top his bed. If it's out of sight it's hidden.]
[The person at his door turns out to be... the human! Probably here about that date idea, then...? Just showing them around the replica of his room would be too short, he assumes, but maybe they could start here and head somewhere else as things develop.]
H-human! Hello! Did you want to come in? I wasn't expecting to see you!
no subject
Ah no. I wanted to talk to you but...
[Fuck, wrong Papyrus.]
no subject
Have you been sick? I haven't seen you around, not since you first, uh, welcomed me here?
Besides seeing the other you, I mean. But I don't know if I could mistake you for each other again.
[Those two feel... different.]

STARGAZING! I GUESS WE'RE DOING THIS THING.
Sans heads back into the kitchen and collects the basket of utensils.]
is it time to head to the roof?
no subject
[It looked as if the other Papyrus had already finished up the cooking that the pair had been near the end of anyway. Things neatly packed to be carried up without too much trouble.
They must've been talking for longer than he thought.]
Need me to carry anything?
no subject
[Papyrus grabs a couple of baskets, and shrugs at Gaster.]
If you like, but don't you want to keep your hands free? I'm sure we can handle it!
[Did he just pun himself?]
...Ugh.
no subject
sure, we can handle it, but wouldn't it be handy to have someone else help?

Are there as many as you thought?
no subject
[He gestures to the sky. His own eyelights practically becoming stars themselves]
they're endless! i don't think i could even begin to wrap my head around how many there are.
no subject
It's not like the caves! They're so much smaller. And, I think, I can't see some of them when I look right at them? Are they shy...?

Hey.
Knock knock.
Someone is knocking on Papyrus's door, just loud enough to be heard since it wasn't as if Gaster was going to call through the door along with knocking.]
no subject
not so activefigures on his table, and the knocks nicely punctuate the sound effects he's making.][He jumps away from the table, looking down at the figures in his hands to have started using magic attacks of their own. But now, they remain motionless, and the knocking sound is coming from a different direction.]
[Papyrus opens the door, figures still in hand.]
Oh! Hello, dad!
no subject
A hand rested against his chest for a moment, the other offering a wave of greeting as he just... Wasn't surprised at all to have caught his eldest in the middle of something. A slight step taken back-]
I do hope I'm no interrupting anything important.

papyrus! hey, papyrus!
you in there, bro?
no subject
[Papyrus sure thought so. He probably spent at least an hour, poking and prodding and tugging at his new, bizarrely sensitive flesh. His biceps! While not as big as he dreamed of, they were more than enough to bring a tear or two to his eyes. And eyes! It turned out, poking at your eyes was a bit painful.]
[No, everything seemed wonderful. Strange, and a little alarming, and certainly mysterious... But t wasn't until he heard the dawn bells, and got up to leave his room and seek out breakfast, that Papyrus realized a terrible thing. The skeleton's battle body didn't fit a human.]
[By the time Sans knocked on his door, Papyrus' closet was wide open, the floor strewn with clothes in a desperate search for something that fit well enough to wear outside his room. Only the pajamas he'd gone to bed in still fit. And, as wonderful as they (and the matching night cap) were, it wasn't the kind of thing he'd choose to wear outside his room.]
Sans?!? Uh, I think I am? In here? Somewhere???
[Oh look, brother, everybody here is frantic. Help.]
no subject
[Don't tell him it got you too, Papyrus. Sans barges into the room, only to stop and stare, mouth agape, at the clothes strewn about the room.]
geez, papyrus, even my room doesn't look this bad.

Such a happy day
So on July 30th, random pedestrians on the streets of Nusquamton get to be treated to the sight of a dapper skeleton prancing around with a colorful hat strapped to his skull.
They might even watch as he stops in front of random windows, practicing an expression of delight and surprise, before laughing a "NYEH HEH HEH" and continuing on his way. What's gotten into him?]
no subject
But since they were already in town, that gave him a clever idea for a gift. (Or gifts, in this case.)
Mettaton makes a beeline for him, extending a noodly arm into the air to get Papyrus's attention.]
Yoohoo, darling!
no subject
Hello Mettaton!
[It doesn't occur to him to glance behind him or anything. Who else would he be waving to so enthusiastically? Obviously, only Papyrus! Or the other Papyrus. Or maybe one of his other friends...?]
